Variable Transformer Units

These bespoke variable transformer units can be designed to provide variable voltage single phase, three phase or rectified outputs. Variable transformer units can be supplied complete with motorised control for local or remote adjustment of the output voltage and with stabiliser control modules for constant output voltage, compensating for +10% to -15% variation in the supply voltage.

Description

Variable transformer units can be supplied open style for installation in your equipment or more generally in purpose built sheet metal enclosures. Our  transformers are manufactured in line with our standard single and three phase ranges as described in the dedicated sections of this site. Variable transformers are sourced from specialist suppliers. Connection to the units is via either DIN rail terminals or copper busbars. Protection monitoring circuits and cooling fans are fitted as agreed.
